Dedicated Staff Who Care

Camp Cory boasts a group of extremely dedicated full-time and seasonal staff. Many of our staff members attended camp as campers and we are thrilled that over 70% of our staff return each summer. During the summer of 2019 the Camp Cory Staff encompassed more than 100 people from 14 countries!

Please Note – Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are unable to hire international staff (as of 12/30/20). We are working with our international hiring groups to make sure we are following all protocols before opening up to international applicants.

Camp Cory Benefits Package

Pay Structure

Junior Counselor – Base Pay of $180 per week

Senior Counselor – Base Pay of $220 per week

Program Specialist – Base Pay of $250 per week, with higher range for more specialized positions

Leadership Staff – Base Pay of $275 per week, with higher range for more specialized positions

Kitchen Director – Base Pay of $750 per week, private housing and childcare provided for qualified candidates

End of Summer Bonus

Staff with specialized qualifications and increased availability are eligible for end of summer bonuses. All bonuses are contingent on staff completing the terms of their original contract. Confirmation of skillset and certification will occur during staff training week:

  • Weeks 7 & 8 – $100 (Staff will qualify for this bonus after working at least four weeks of the summer)
  • Weeks 9 & 10 – $100 (Staff will qualify for this bonus after working at least four weeks of the summer)
  • Waterfront Lifeguard – $135 (Staff will qualify for this bonus after working at least four weeks of the summer and have an updated Waterfront Lifeguard Certification with CPR for the Professional rescuer by June 27, 2021. Please note that certification and recertification classes will be offered at no cost to the staff member prior to the summer, but only at Camp Cory).
  • High Ropes Supervisor – $100 (Staff will qualify for this bonus after working at least four weeks of the summer and receive a “Supervisor” level certification during the pre-summer high ropes training.)
  • Sailing – $80 (Staff will qualify for this bonus after four weeks of summer and approval of skills from the Executive Director)
