Dedicated Staff Who Care

Camp Cory boasts a group of extremely dedicated full-time and seasonal staff. Many of our staff members attended camp as campers and we are thrilled that over 70% of our staff return each summer. During the summer of 2019 the Camp Cory Staff encompassed more than 100 people from 14 countries! All Cory staff are required to have the COVID-19 vaccine. 

Returning for Summer 2022 – We are able to hire international staff again for this upcoming summer! We are very excited for the return of this important piece of our camp culture.

Camp Cory Benefits Package

Pay Structure

Junior Counselor – Base Pay of $265 per week

Senior Counselor – Base Pay of $280 per week

Program Specialist – Base Pay of $310 per week, with higher range for more specialized positions

Leadership Staff – Base Pay of $400 per week, with higher range for more specialized positions

End of Summer Bonus

Staff with specialized qualifications and increased availability are eligible for end of summer bonuses. All bonuses are contingent on staff completing the terms of their original contract. Any contract changes need to be confirmed by April 1, 2022. Confirmation of skillset and certification will occur during staff training week. Staff are eligible for the following bonuses after working at least five sessions.

  • Skills Bonus:
    • ​Sailing – $50 flat bonus pending skill approval from Director
    • Belay – $50 flat bonus pending skill approval from Director. Trainings available at no cost to staff at Cory during the month of June
    • Waterfront Lifeguard – $50 flat bonus. Must have current Waterfront Lifeguard Certification with CPR for the Professional Rescuer by June 27, 2022. Courses available at no cost to staff at Cory during the month of June
    • High Ropes Supervisor – $100 flat bonus. Must receive a “Supervisor” level certification during pre-summer ropes training with Adventure Network.
  • Session Bonus:
    • ​7 total Sessions: bonus of 25% of weekly salary
    • 8 total Sessions: bonus of 50% of weekly salary
    • 9 total Sessions: bonus of 75% of weekly salary
    • 10 total Sessions: bonus of 100% of weekly salary
  • Staff Referral Bonus – when staff refer another staff to work at Camp Cory they receive a bonus of $TBD if we hire that individual and they work for one session. Staff will receive an additional $TBD bonus if the individual completes their contract.
